A Father Like My Father

Being a father can be a challenging journey, especially when we carry our own experiences with our fathers or deal with fatherlessness. Thankfully, we can turn to the father heart of God for healing, guidance, and support as we imitate Him and raise our own children. By doing so in a way that honors Him, we can create a lasting legacy for our families that will bless future generations. Kingdom Sexuality Part 10 || Overcoming Abuse

How can we, as the people of God, overcome sexual abuse and help others do the same? The prevalence of abuse in our world is overwhelming and staggering. We need to heal from this trauma, and the Church must step into the aftermath of sexual abuse to help set the captives free. There is healing, freedom, and victory over sexual abuse that can only be found in Jesus. Pastor Rob Danz shares part of his family's journey through sexual abuse and conveys a message on how the people of God can rise above the horrors of such experiences. This is the conclusion of Antioch Wichita's Kingdom Sexuality sermon series. 

Kingdom Sexuality Part 9 || Singleness

What does the Bible say about sexuality and singleness? Over 100 million people in the United States are single. Unfortunately, statistics show that many singles, both inside and outside the church, are not living in accordance with God’s design for sexual intimacy. What is Jesus calling singles to, and does He want everyone to marry? This week, Pastor Rob Danz will discuss how the church can support and uplift singles to live for the Kingdom of God.

We had the great honor of having our dear friend, Pastor Jamaal Watson, back again and sharing the word of God. This week's sermon was titled "Anchored in Jesus," based on the text from Psalms 18:1-49 that calls us to become and to remain anchored in Jesus.  

Whats in a Name || Pastor Jimmy Hutson

Focusing on God's magnificent and glorious names helps us to honor Him. By understanding these names, we can, with the guidance of His Spirit, live in a way that reflects His greatness. This is especially important in our world, which desperately needs to witness a supernatural vision of the invisible God through the visible lives of His children. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson taught on the names of God. 

Kingdom Sexuality Part 8 || Marriage

What does the Bible say about sex in marriage? God's design for humanity is inherently sexual and fulfilling when we embrace it according to His intentions. This week, Pastor Rob discusses God's plan for sex in marriage, including how we should approach it, express gratitude for it, common misconceptions to avoid, and how serious He is about the marriage covenant.

Easter serves as the ultimate proof that Jesus always fulfills His promises. His death, burial, and resurrection demonstrate God's faithfulness to His people. While individuals in our lives may disappoint us or abandon us at times, Jesus never has and never will. Pastor Rob Danz shared this message titled "Just Like He Said," based on Matthew 16.

Kingdom Sexuality Part 7 || Unaliving Lust and Pornography

Lust and pornography are a significant problem within the church, and they break the heart of God and cause damage in our lives. First and foremost, lust is a spiritual defilement that starts in the heart and mind, and porn is an unholy fuel for the fire of lust. However, there is freedom from the bondage of both porn and lust that's found only in Jesus. We must become far more serious about our battles with it and putting it to death.

What is the church's response to the LGBTQ community? This week, we explored how followers of Jesus should engage people living alternative lifestyles in a way that honors Jesus, shows His love, and communicates His truth so people can be set free. Kingdom Sexuality Part 5 || Gender, Jesus, and Questions

What is God's heart and purpose for our gender and gender identity? This week, we looked into sex, gender, gender dysphoria, and transgenderism, and why this topic has become so prevalent in the world we live in. Pastor Rob Danz led us through the Word of God to help us find God's purposes in how He has made us and how we should see ourselves biblically, not through our broken lens of feelings and emotions. Our gender is not assigned at birth; it was designed before time began and knit together with divine purpose in our mother's womb by the very hands of God.

Part 4 of Kingdom Sexuality continues discussing homosexuality by addressing many questions that people have about this lifestyle. Some of the topics Pastor Rob covers in this sermon include: Can someone be gay and still be saved? What is the difference between struggling with a broken sexuality and being openly defiant about it? How is my sin different from yours? Is it possible to change? These questions and more are explored in this week's sermon.

Part 1, "It All Starts with Jesus," presents us with two critical questions: 
1) Is it possible that my understanding of sexuality does not align with the heart and commands of Jesus? 
2) If so, am I willing to lay aside my views and pursue what He desires for my life?

Romans 8 || Life in the Spirit - Elder Rick Meeks

Elder Rick Meeks delivered a powerful message based on Romans 8, titled "Life in the Spirit." He emphasized that God accomplished what the law could not, and now, through life in the Spirit, Christ lives within us. We are free from the deeds of our sinful nature, able to call Him Abba, and empowered to live through the gifts He has given us.

Vision Sunday Part 2 || Where We Are Going

This week, we concluded our 2025 Vision Sunday with "Where We Are Going." Pastor Rob outlined some of the vision for us as a global movement of churches, sharing the Antioch Wichita heart for this year and introducing our 2030 Vision for the next five years.
