Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me. As most of us can testify, that statement doesn't hold true. There is so much power in our words to build someone up or tear them down. The Bible is clear, we were called to be encouragers and speak life to one another and to the world. Pastor Rob Danz preached a message titled, "Speaking Life and Death" from Psalms 18:21.

Pastor Randy Williams shared a powerful word on what work looks like biblically for followers of Jesus. As you see Jesus for who He is, you are invited to move away from a life of over-work, away from a life of under-work, and flourish as you work hard, rest well, and identify in Jesus' finished work.  

True missional living is simply this: The rescued men and women of God bring the rescuer to those who desperately need it. This missions Sunday, Pastor Rob brought a message titled "Rescued Rescuers". Mission is directly connected to the restoration we have in Jesus; we have been rescued by His blood and now He invites us to bring His rescue to the world.

Pastor Randy Williams closed out our "The God Who Restores" sermon series with Part 3: This I Call to Mind. Lamentations 3:1-26 was our text that walks through the lament of hopelessness in God's people that comes from the suffering brought on by our own hand and by the hand of the world that can only be overcome by the blood of the cross and when we call to mind the goodness and steadfast love of God. 

Our understanding of the doctrine of suffering will change our lives dramatically. Suffering happens because of the fall of man, but the goodness of God is deeply engrained in the midst of suffering. Jesus uses the broken things in our lives, and He restores us from them all. Pastor Rob preached through Part 2 of our "The God Who Restores" series. 

Pastor Rob Danz shares his family's testimony on how he and his wife were restored out of brokenness by the love and power of Jesus. When we see suffering through the lens of the Kingdom, it becomes a gift to us and a tool that Jesus uses to bring about our unfathomable restoration.

Pastor Rob Danz wraps up our Kingdom Come Generosity Sermon Series with Part 4: Warnings, Blessings, and Our Response. Generosity marks us as the people of God. We want to be faithfully generous and aware of the warnings the Bible teaches us about finances, but also see the amazing blessings we receive when we are generous. If He is who He says He is, we gladly lay down everything for Him.

The Kingdom Come Generosity sermon series continues with part 3: Even Greater. Pastor Rob Danz takes us through the history of giving in the scriptures and the heart behind true generosity. The standard of giving in the Old Testament was the tithe, our standard is the cross. We are blown away by the gift of Jesus, and we give from a place of sacrificial overflow, not because we are bound to a percentage.

Pastor Rob Danz continues our Kingdom Come Generosity sermon series with Part 2: Stewards. We walked through the parable of the talents found in Matthew 25:14-30 which leads us to the question, have we managed the resources the Lord has entrusted to us like they belong to Him, for His benefit, and His kingdom? Ultimately, we are caretakers of what Jesus has entrusted to us for this brief time that we are on Earth.

Our new sermon series titled Kingdom Come Generosity kicked off today with Part 1: Treasure. Our heart is to be “Kingdom come” people that look to inject the Kingdom of God in every area and situation of our lives. One area that is challenging for many of us is Kingdom generosity. Pastor Rob Danz taught on Matthew 6:19-21 on where our treasure really is. 

Pastor Darnell Bryant teaches out of 1 Samuel 15 today with a message titled, Obedience is Better Than Sacrifice. Making big sacrifices for God that are not from a heart of obedience, are pointless. He's not impressed with the sacrifice, He's after obedience from a heart who understands His sacrifice.

There are occurrences that happen in our lives that change the trajectory of everything we know and do. For a follower of Jesus, the day we surrendered to Him is the day that everything in our lived was changed eternity. That day should lead us into a life of trust, obedience, and worship. Pastor Rob concludes our Advent series with Part 4: The Arrival, that looks into the life of Mary and Joseph.

Everything about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus has proven Him to be our savior, redeemer, and our God. As we walk in that truth, our lives will never be the same. As believers, we need the reminder to open the eyes of our hearts and see the proof of what we have given our lives to. Pastor Rob Danz preaches Part 4 of our Advent 2021 sermon series titled Proof is Everywhere.

Pastor Jimmy Hutson continues our Advent 2021 Sermon series with Part 2: People Must know. When we live rightly in this tension of the already not yet Kingdom, we have hope, joy, and we have purpose. Our purpose is to glorify God in everything we do, and we are called to share the good news of Jesus with the world. This world needs real hope and real joy. This world needs Jesus.

Pastor Rob Danz kicks of our 2021 Advent sermon series. We live in a unique period of time for the people of God. This "Already not yet" Kingdom comes with a tension between the fulfillment of many of the promises of God that came with the first coming of Jesus next to the brokenness of this world and the anticipation of the second coming of Christ. What we anticipate in our lives will dictate how we walk out the tension of this already and not yet Kingdom.

The people of God are called to live unified in the Spirit. We walk with each other in humility, gentleness and patience through the love of God and we eagerly pursue reconciliation. Pastor Rob taught through Ephesians 4:1-5 and the importance of a unified church.

One of our favorite Sunday's of the year is our Child Dedication service! Pastor Jimmy Hutson shared a word on how we as the church and families need to live a life of following Jesus for our kids to model, and how we desperately need to be praying for our kids!

The love of Jesus compels us and motivates us to love and live the all-in way He calls us to. If we miss the love relationship with Him, we will be left to lead unmotivated lives battling guilt and poor identity. Our newness in Him is the doorway for living the all-in and radical life that Jesus calls us to. Pastor Rob teaches from 2 Corinthians 5:14-17. 

It was testimony Sunday at Antioch Wichita. Come and listen to the living Gospel through the lives of three amazing people from our church family. Our testimonies are the story of the love of God over our lives! 

This week we jumped into the power of what it is to be a fasting church. Fasting is a vital part of the personal revival of a follower of Jesus who longs to be closer to Him. As we learn to control our earthly hunger and desires, we can grow in our hunger and desire for the things of God.
