Of Thorns and Glory - Lent 2024 Part 2: Mark 8:31-38

Although it’s beyond the comprehension of the mind of man, to follow Jesus is to live a life of death to self. Only when we die to self, will we truly find the life that He intended for us to have in Him. Part 2 of our Lent 2024 sermon series "Of Thorns and Glory" was taught out of Mark 8:31-38.

Of Thorns and Glory - Lent 2024 Part 1: Matthew 4:1-11

We officially kicked off our Lent 2024 Sermon series titled "Of Thorns and Glory", with Part 1 that was based out of Matthew 4:1-11. Through the power and example of our suffering and triumphant Savior, we can stand on the truth of His Word and overcome the enemy in every season and trial.

Five Circles of a Healthy Church

We believe in simple church founded on Jesus and His powerful name. Through being faithful in 1) Our personal devotion time 2) discipling one another 3) House churches 4) Sunday gatherings 5) witnessing to the world, we believe that the Kingdom of God can move through His church in unimaginable ways. Uncommon times call for an uncommon church.

Desperate Gratitude

Pastor Rob Danz walks through Luke 17:11-19, a text that talks about the healing of the ten lepers and the response of one of them. Jesus is looking for those who He has healed and set free who have desperately thankful hearts. How have we been at coming back to the feet of Jesus with thankful hearts every time He moves in our lives?

When we can walk in rhythms of confession with the God of forgiveness, we can walk in the fullness and freedom that He has so graciously given to us. Pastor Rob Danz taught out of 1 John 1:5-10 on the need for rhythms of confession in our daily lives.

Being all in is really an overflow of understanding the treasure we have in Jesus and His Kingdom. He is absolutely worthy of it all! Pastor Rob Danz preached this sermon titled "Worthy of it All", that walks out the truths found in Matthew 13:44. 

Reciprocating Love

Pastor Rob Danz shared a sermon titled "Reciprocating Love". We don’t obey first and foremost because we have been asked to, we obey because of the one who is asking. We want to be known in the heavens as people who obey because we love Jesus so much that we cannot help it.

This week we concluded our Declaring War sermon series with Part 3: Armor. We are not casualties of this great spiritual war that covers every inch of existence, we are to be conquerors equipped with the power and armor of the Living God. 

Declaring War Part 2: The Enemy Within

Part 2 of our Declaring War sermon series was titled "The Enemy Within", that walked through the enemy of self. In the spiritual warfare that’s happening all around us, we are one of our greatest enemies.  There is a battle that wages inside of us and we no longer have to be a prisoner to it. We can live victoriously over the death in our flesh by walking in the new life through the Spirit of God!

Declaring War Part 1: Identifying Our Enemies

Pastor Rob Danz launched us into our new summer series on spiritual warfare titled, "Declaring War". Part 1: Identifying Our Enemies, walks through the truths that to be unaware of the enormous spiritual warfare that happens all around us at all times is to be unaware of our purpose. If we are to be useful in this battle, we must know who our enemies are and how Jesus leads us to fight them. 

Fathers Day 2023 Q&A

This week we had some powerful testimonies from 4 Antioch dads who come from much different backgrounds and journeys, but all love and disciple their kids well. In today's world, the church needs to respond and break the cycle of fatherlessness and godless fathering.
