Antioch Wichita - Sermon Podcast

Pastor Rob Danz jumped into Part 7 of our Upside-Down sermon series this week as we walked through Matthew 5:9. Jesus said "blessed are the peacemakers" because He has called us to be people who purposefully bring the peace only found in Him to every person and area of our lives. A pure heart is something that we cannot fabricate no matter how hard we try. We can "do" countless things to seem like we are good but in the end, God knows our hearts. When we think of the word "mercy", most people would define it as "not getting what you deserve". While that is absolutely true about biblical mercy, there is more to it. The mercy of God comes from the merciful heart of God. He loves us, has compassion for us, and longs to remedy the brokenness in our lives.
