The parable of the prodigal son is a powerful story that gives us a snapshot of the Kingdom of God. Because of the Lord's love, He will let us go in our rebellion, allowing us to reach the bottom of our lives so we might be humbled and return home as sons and daughters who want to be close to the Father. His eyes are on the road, waiting to welcome us back home regardless of what we have done and where we have been.
